Vehicle Class Description
Stock (S) Class Requirements
Factory Stock No modifications Pump gas for fuel only Maximum tire diameter: 33.0” DOT or OEM stock tires. Race officials have final say in all class rankings
Super Stock (SS) Class Requirements
No engine swaps. Aluminum manifolds, headers, carburetor changes allowed. Naturally aspirated, single carburetor and factory fuel injection are allowed only. Factory installed Turbos allowed. No aftermarket ignition boxes. No aftermarket programmers or chips. No aftermarket Heads. Lifts allowed. Pump gas or diesel for fuel only. Must be street legal; functional lights, windshield and no cut bodies. Must have factory bolted on doors and tailgates if so equipped. Removable top may be removed. If vehicle came with a windshield installed from the factory it must have a windshield installed for SS. No race fiberglass body shells. OEM replacement style fiberglass body parts allowed. No cut tires, paddles, or tractor tires. A maximum diameter of 36.0” DOT tires. Race officials have final say in all class rankings
Pro Stock (PS) Class Requirements
Any size engine, or engine swaps, but must be in stock location, No aftermarket engine blocks. Aluminum manifolds, headers, carburetor changes allowed. Chips and programmers allowed. Naturally aspirated, single carburetor and factory fuel injection. Factory installed Turbos allowed. Aftermarket factory style injection allowed. Propane allowed on gas engines. No nitrous oxide. No cut tires, paddles, or tractor tires. DOT approved tires only. Removable of fiberglass tops, glass and tail gates allowed. Trimming allowed of fender wells for tire clearance only. No race fiberglass body shells. OEM replacement style fiberglass body parts allowed. Factory style suspensions lift kits and, straight axle swaps allowed. Traction bars allowed. Must have a factory style frame. No aftermarket tube chassis. Topless vehicles must have roll cage. Factory style transfer cases Race officials have final say in all class rankings
Powder puff (PP) Class Requirements
Driver must be female. Any vehicle that can run in the Stock, Super Stock, or Pro Stock Classes.
Mud Modified (MM) Class Requirements
Any engine and modifications Engine cannot be more than 4” behind the block side of the front axle tube. Naturally aspired or factory style fuel injection. NO Nitrous Oxide. No cut tires, paddles, or tractor tires. DOT approved tires only. Fiberglass bodies and parts allowed. Body may be gutted but must look recognizable. No narrowed race tubs. Factory style frame only. No aftermarket tube chassis. Factory style transfer case. Must have roll cage and minimum 4 point harness. Must have 4 wheel brakes. See Safety Rules below for more recommendations. Pro Mud (PM) Class Requirements
Any engine and modifications. No blowers Can run alcohol and injection systems. Can run Nitrous Oxide Must be rubber tires. See Safety Rules below for more requirements. Race officials have final say in all class rankings
Safety Rules pertaining to Mud Modified and Pro Mud.
Must have U-joint shields on all U-Joints and one loop centered on drive shafts 24” or less.
On drive shafts longer than 24” you will need a minimum of two drive line loops.
Open topped vehicles must have a minimum of a 6 point cage. Structurally altered cabs must have a minimum of a 6 point cage (Structurally altered meaning: cutting or weakening cab from OEM standard). Unaltered cabs OK but recommended at least 4 point cage.
Standard transmissions must have “scatter shield bell housing.” Automatics must have a tranny shield or blanket.
Must have an easily accessible fire extinguisher.
Must have a minimum of a 4 point harness.
Must have a driver accessible power shut off switch.
Must have a well marked, easily accessible master shut off switch.
Must have a firewall separating driver from engine.
It is highly recommended to have at least a single layer fire suit, fire proof gloves, shoes and head sock along with an approved safety neck ring.
Exhibition Clause
Driver can run in a competitive class without any eligibility for points, cash purse, or trophies. Driver still has to pay the class entrance fee.
We have tried to make all the rules clear, but due to the variances between vehicles, class positioning will be the final decision of the Tech Officials. No cheating will be allowed. Any vehicle that does not meet all the safety requirements for its class will not be allowed to run. The goal is to make all classes as fair and competitive as possible.
